This is a laboratory-based position that requires in-person work 5 days a week.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support execution of laboratory testing programs including setup, monitoring, and teardown </li><li>Assist with field activities such as pipeline installation, repair, purging, and system preparation </li><li>Maintain and organize laboratory spaces including Pipe Farm, 636 Lab, and Grey/Green Labs </li><li>Serve as area safety support ensuring proper PPE use and adherence to safety procedures </li><li>Perform equipment maintenance and ensure readiness of tools and test rigs </li><li>Operate equipment such as forklifts and assist with material handling </li><li>Support multiple concurrent projects to ensure timely and efficient execution </li><li>Assist in developing and maintaining best practices for lab and field operations </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Understanding of field construction practices and safety requirements </li><li>Familiarity with pipeline systems including installation, repair, and purging </li><li>Knowledge of maintenance tools and general equipment upkeep </li><li>Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout </li><li>Strong hands-on technical aptitude </li><li>Ability to work across both lab and field environments </li><li>Trained in laboratory and field safety </li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant software </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Lifting up to 70 pounds </li><li>Standing 1-2 hours </li><li>Pushing up to 2500 pounds on a pallet jack </li><li>Working in hot, dusty conditions </li><li>Working with hot gases, solids, liquids, steam, combustion equipment, high pressures </li><li>Uneven working surfaces, granting, and ladders </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma required </li><li>2 - 5+ years of relevant experience with a high school diploma, or 1 - 3+ years of relevant work experience with an associate's degree </li><li>Forklift Certification preferred </li><li>Welding Certification preferred </li></ul> <p>Pay Transparency</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $24 - $29 USD hourly. This salary range is GTI Energy's good faith estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, GTI Energy's business or organizational needs and an individual's relevant experience, education, qualifications, certifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, and/or performance.
