You'll write and collaborate the development of proposals, content creation, and technology implementation that drives revenue growth and client satisfaction. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate across departments to identify sales obstacles and create innovative solutions that enable our teams to perform at their highest potential. You will leverage data analytics to measure effectiveness while continuously refining approaches to meet evolving business needs and market conditions.</p> <p>What is the day to day?</p> <p>Proposal Leadership & Team Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead the proposal team, including two direct reports, to deliver compliant, client-focused, and persuasive proposals and qualification materials. </li><li>Oversee the creation, refinement, and quality control of resumes, project descriptions, project approach, and case studies. </li><li>Validate proposal structure, compliance forms, and content against solicitation requirements and ensure alignment with JLL's brand and messaging. </li><li>Mentor, coach, and develop team members to foster professional growth and high performance. </li></ul> <p>Sales Enablement & Proposal Development</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with business development, subject matter experts, and technical teams to gather content and develop winning strategies for proposals. </li><li>Collaborate with marketing in the creation of brochures, presentations, and other marketing assets. </li><li>Participate in go/no-go decision processes and support competitive analysis for new opportunities. </li><li>Create specific pursuit management schedules and role responsibilities while also managing these schedules across multiple teams and timelines. </li><li>Develop outlines to guide proposal structures, compliance requirements, and content. </li><li>Write and edit proposal sections to clearly articulate JLL's value proposition and differentiators for government, education, and non-profit clients. </li><li>Coordinate with risk management and legal counsel for compliance requirements. </li><li>Support organic growth initiatives for large GEN clients through high-quality proposal development. </li><li>Lead pitch preparation activities, including developing content flow, creating compelling pitch decks, coordinating practice sessions, and ensuring alignment with customer priorities and proposal messaging. </li></ul> <p>Operational Excellence & Process Optimization</p> <ul> <li>Lead clear process and project management controls to ensure critical time management across multiple pursuits and in coordination with multiple teams. </li><li>Develop and manage proposal review schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines. </li><li>Facilitate proposal-related activities, including RFP/RFQ analysis, kick-off meetings, and production planning. </li><li>Identify and implement process improvements and best practices to enhance proposal workflows and drive efficiency. </li><li>Track and report on proposal metrics to inform data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Work closely with the GEN Operations Vice President and other business leaders to align proposal activities with broader organizational goals. </li><li>Coordinate with marketing, communications, and subject matter experts to ensure sales materials such as proposals and presentations reflect JLL's capabilities and market leadership. </li><li>Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the proposal team and across the Sales Enablement function. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience. </li><li>Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated experience managing proposal teams and 7 years leading the development of proposals for government, education, or non-profit sector clients </li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple, competing deadlines and priorities. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex information into clear, compelling content. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite and InDesign; experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) </li><li>Experience in process improvement and change management </li></ul> <p>Estimated total compensation for this position:</p> <p>145,000.00 - 165,000.00 USD per year</p> <p>The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed.
