<p>Salary Range: $75,800-$90,000 (Depending on Experience)</p> <p>Purpose:As a member of a Mill based Global Business IT team you will be a part of a team of professionals supporting a 24x7 manufacturing operation. This is an onsite role onsite at a manufacturing facility. As the Mill Application Programmer Analyst, you will support all aspects of a portfolio of applications and related infrastructure critical to the day-to-day operations of the mill impacting Safety, Environmental Compliance, Product Quality and Production. You will work with business partners and other IT team members to positively impact systems reliability and innovation. Key Accountabilities:</p> <p>Support and maintain an existing portfolio of Mill based applications/solutions supporting Manufacturing, Quality and Environmental operations. Drive innovation by leveraging emerging technologies and creative solutions to enhance business value. Lead initiatives that advance operational capabilities through research, change management, user education, and seamless implementation. Contribute to the success of new technologies including Manufacturing Execution System solutions and other mill applications. Work individually or as a member of a cross functional team implementing system upgrades up to and including full solution replacement. Provide direct end user support and training in the use of existing solutions supporting Mill operations. Maintain existing and develop new integrations between a variety of IT and OT systems including data historians, databases, Manufacturing Execution, Quality and Enterprise Resource Systems. Administer and maintain Aveva PI Data Historian system as well as related Analytics (PI Asset Framework) and visualization (PI Vision, ParcView) solutions. Troubleshoot and support existing reporting systems including the maintenance of existing reporting solutions as well as the development of new reports on a variety of platforms including Crystal Report and Power BI. Develop and maintain T-SQL queries in support of reporting and integration. Maintain and develop in house solutions developed using a variety of platforms/languages including Power Apps, PowerShell, Visual Basic, and other scripting languages. Work independently, with business partners and/or vendors/contractors as needed to scope and develop innovative business solutions. SharePoint Online Administration and Development. Create and maintain system documentation. Communicate and collaborate closely across business and technical communities, bridge gaps and drive value.</p> <p>Knowledge and Experience:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, information technology, software engineering or equivalent field of study. 5+ years' experience developing, integrating and supporting applications, database and server infrastructure preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Experience in the pulp and paper industry is preferred, but not essential. Experience working with manufacturing historian, analytic and visualization systems is preferred. Capable of working independently with minimal supervision or direction Clear ability to manage change and coordinate multiple projects and deadlines. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Must be an effective listener. Strong interpersonal skills.
