<p>PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Design tooling and equipment for assembly and testing of our products </li><li>Assist in commissioning or upgrading equipment to the latest standards </li><li>Create tooling and equipment drawing packages using SolidWorks </li><li>Manage projects for creating new processes and equipment design as needed </li><li>Be proactive at solving problems and learning new techniques to increase production safety and efficiency </li><li>Support day-to-day manufacturing activities </li><li>Perform other work-related tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology </li><li>Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing environments </li><li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit at a computer; use hands to type or key, use a mouse, or feel; talk, and hear. </li><li>The employee is frequently required to walk; and reach with hands and arms. </li><li>The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Factory environment with a large range in temperature changes and noise. </li><li>Manual dexterity is required for operating machinery and computers. </li><li>Walking throughout the day up to eight (8) hours. </li><li>Bending/Stooping repetitively throughout the day. </li><li>Push/Pull up repetitively throughout the day. </li><li>Proficient in MS Office Suite programs, particularly Excel, </li><li>2D & 3D drafting programs, i.e. AutoCAD, SolidWorks </li><li>Basic to knowledge of PLC programming/ladder logic </li><li>Basic electrical knowledge with familiarity with common components such as PLCs, Relays, VFDs </li><li>Basic engineering knowledge of such things as P& ID schematics, electrical schematics, time studies, process flows, scope of works, and OSHA Safety Standards </li></ul>
