Duties include:</p> <ul> <li>Operate various types of scrubbing, buffing, and shampooing equipment, such as scrubbing machine, vacuum, wet-dry pick-up machine, etc. </li><li>And hand tools, as required; sweep, scrub, strip, seal, wax and shampoo various types of floors and floor coverings and furniture </li><li>Remove, replace incandescent bulbs, fluorescent tubes and starters, shades and covers(all from permanent fixtures), venetian and roller blinds, window screens, wall hangings, etc. </li><li>Remove accumulated waste and debris from buildings, as required </li><li>Remove, move, and/or relocate furniture, equipment, supplies and construction materials; unload incoming materials and move to storage locations </li><li>Wash windows, wall sections, floor to ceiling, ceilings, venetian and roller blinds, light fixtures, window screens, etc. </li><li>Assist in set-up and clean-up of chairs, tables, stages, platforms, bleachers, lecterns, etc. , at various campus locations for banquets, plays, and other scheduled events </li><li>Remove debris from walks and driveways; rake and remove leaves; pick up paper and other debris </li><li>Operate motor vehicle to transport materials, equipment and personnel between building work sites </li><li>Maintain tools, equipment and work area in a clean and orderly condition; report unusual conditions to supervisor </li><li>Shovel snow and chop ice; spread cinders, sand and other anti-skid materials on walks and driveways using small power and/or hand tools, as required </li></ul> <p>Work Schedule: 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.</p> <p>Days Off: Saturday, Sunday</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE</p> <p>Up to 3 months of effective experience</p> <p>REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS</p> <p>None</p> <p>BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES</p> <p>Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
