<p>Job Description :</p> <p>Partner, Talent Acquisition - Los Angeles or New York City</p> <p>The New York Post - one of America's most iconic media brands - is expanding to the West Coast. As we launch The California Post, our newest editorial initiative, we're looking for an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Partner to lead key hiring efforts with a primary focus on building out our Los Angeles-based teams - while also supporting broader staffing needs across the organization as needed.</p> <p>This high-impact role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Talent Acquisition and serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers and senior leaders across editorial, video, business, creative, and operations. You'll help define hiring plans, drive full-cycle recruiting, and build best-in-class pipelines - all while delivering an outstanding candidate and stakeholder experience.</p> <p>This is a fast-moving, high-impact role for someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoys building talent functions in real-time, and has a passion for recruiting top-tier talent in media, entertainment and publishing.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead and execute full-cycle recruiting for mid- to senior-level searches across editorial, business, and operational teams, with an initial focus on LA growth.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a strategic partner to senior leaders and hiring managers, providing market insights, talent mapping, and consultative support on team buildouts.</p> </li><li> <p>Build, manage, and maintain strong candidate pipelines, balancing near-term hiring needs with long-term talent strategy.</p> </li><li> <p>Own candidate experience end-to-end, from outreach and screening through offers, negotiations, and onboarding.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a brand ambassador for the Post in new markets, helping to establish our presence and attract top talent.</p> </li><li> <p>Proactively identify process improvements, share market trends, and help shape hiring practices as we scale.</p> </li><li> <p>Produce and maintain regular recruiting reports, dashboards, and pipeline updates for leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Partner with key stakeholders, including hiring managers and finance, on compensation analysis, offer structure, onboarding, and the overall new hire experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Contribute to broader People & Culture projects including employee engagement, talent development, and workforce planning.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>At least 5-7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience within media, digital publishing, entertainment, or creative industries.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven success hiring across a variety of functions - editorial, business, creative, and leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong sourcing skills with demonstrated success building pipelines and proactively engaging passive talent.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to partner directly with senior stakeholders and provide strategic recruiting counsel.</p> </li><li> <p>Highly organized, with excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter is a must; Google Suite proficiency strongly preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable operating with autonomy while collaborating closely with HR and business leadership.</p> </li><li> <p>High EQ, sound judgment, discretion, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Note: The New York Post adheres to a hybrid work model. This LA or NYC based role will be expected to report into the office at least 1-2 days per week (subject to change depending on business needs).</p> <p>At The New York Post we recognize that attracting the best talent is key to our strategy and success as a company.
