In this role, you will analyze ERP requirements, issue purchase orders, and monitor delivery performance. You will work closely with suppliers to resolve quality or delivery issues and support cost-savings initiatives through negotiation and contract implementation.</p> <p>This position plays a critical role in managing supplier relationships, tracking performance against key metrics, and driving continuous improvement. The hours are 8:00 - 5:00 pm.</p> <p>Your Responsibilities Will Be:</p> <ul> <li>Issue purchase orders to approved suppliers to procure materials at the lowest total cost while meeting quality, reliability, and delivery requirements </li><li>Analyze supplier quotations, select vendors, enter purchase orders, and coordinate delivery schedules </li><li>Monitor open purchase orders and proactively expedite deliveries as needed </li><li>Resolve supplier quality, delivery, and performance issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders </li><li>Build and maintain strong, productive relationships with internal customers and supplier partners </li><li>Analyze data and prepare reports; provide recommendations related to inventory levels, safety stock, and forecast consumption </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred </li><li>1-2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or a related field </li><li>Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel </li><li>ERP systems </li><li>Purchase orders and inventory management </li><li>Machines and parts used in metal fabrication </li><li>Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>D365 </li></ul> <p>ADA Requirements</p> <p>This position typically requires standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and performing repetitive motions.</p> <ul> <li>Requires sustained mental and visual attention to perform complex tasks with a high degree of accuracy </li><li>Must meet company attendance standards </li></ul> <p>Physical Demand: Light to moderate work, involving exertion of up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and up to 5 pounds frequently.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This role is based in a manufacturing environment.
