<p>MAU is hiring a Sr. Facilities Electric Engineer for our client in Graniteville, SC. As a Sr. Facilities Electric Engineer, you will plan, coordinate, and oversee the installation, maintenance, and performance of facility electrical systems while supporting reliability, safety, and capital projects. This is a direct-hire opportunity.</p> <p>Benefits Package</p> <ul> <li>Competitive pay </li><li>401k </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Dental insurance </li><li>Vision insurance </li><li>Paid vacation </li><li>Paid holidays </li></ul> <p>Shift Information</p> <ul> <li>Monday through Friday schedule </li><li>Five (5) eight (8)-hour days </li><li>May require occasional overtime, weekend work, or on-call support </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities with a strong focus on electrical systems </li></ul> <p>Preferred Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) </li><li>Certified Energy Manager (CEM) </li><li>OSHA 30-Hour Certification </li><li>Familiarity with electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM Power Tools) </li><li>Knowledge of PLCs, motor controls, and industrial automation systems </li></ul> <p>General Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship </li><li>Excellent understanding of electrical power systems, including 12,470V, 480V, and low-voltage controls </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and project management skills </li><li>Effective communication and teamwork abilities </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others </li><li>Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills </li><li>Proficiency with PC, CAD software, and MS Office Suite </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Work with the Sr. Manager for Facilities and Maintenance to deliver department objectives </li><li>Plan, coordinate, deliver, and oversee installation and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, fire alarm systems, and backup power systems </li><li>Plan, coordinate, deliver, and oversee PPM, FET, IR testing, and reactive maintenance on HV and LV electrical systems </li><li>Manage capital projects related to facility electrical upgrades, expansions, and energy efficiency initiatives </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure plant reliability </li><li>Perform load calculations, short-circuit analysis, arc flash assessments, and system capacity planning </li><li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, OSHA) </li><li>Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plans for electrical systems and equipment </li><li>Lead and support energy management and sustainability programs </li><li>Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and utility companies as needed </li><li>Develop framework contracts and Service Level Agreements for external service providers </li><li>Oversee and assess work performance of external service providers </li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of electrical systems and facility drawings, including one-line diagrams, panel schedules, and maintenance records </li><li>Provide technical support to maintenance and operations teams during equipment installation, upgrades, or modifications </li><li>Participate in safety programs, risk assessments, and facility audits </li><li>Support implementation of company Health & Safety Standards, including serving as Responsible Person (RP) or Assistant RP </li><li>Serve as campus subject matter expert for electrical systems and manage/sign off on electrical training requirements </li><li>Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and improvement opportunities </li><li>Provide input for continuous improvement of maintenance systems and processes </li><li>Own and manage campus PV systems, EV systems, and onsite microgrid operations </li><li>Own and assist with reporting activities for internal and external stakeholders </li><li>Develop, coordinate, and maintain critical spares inventory for key assets </li><li>Collaborate with structural engineers, builders, architects, surveyors, and internal project teams </li><li>Attend project group and technical meetings </li><li>Support security of employees and assets through emergency planning and disaster recovery strategies for electrical systems </li><li>Promote a compliance culture aligned with company integrity standards </li><li>Perform special projects as required </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Work performed in office and general manufacturing environments </li><li>Traditional work schedule with potential for overtime, weekend work, and on-call support </li></ul>
