<p>Our Auto Liability team is currently seeking a Sr Litigation Adjuster to join our team.</p> <p>This is a full time, exempt role, 2 days in office.</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW:</p> <p>Responsible for the resolution of litigated cases, involving disputes over coverage, liability, and damages issues. This professional will gather the facts and analyze the statements/testimony and declaration of damages to develop claims resolution strategies. The same will be achieved through working in partnership with defense counsel and field adjusters to bring about a timely cost effective conclusion.</p> <p>IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:</p> <ul> <li>Have or secure and maintain appropriate states adjuster license (s) and continuing education credits. </li><li>Responsible for the settlement of litigated cases, involving disputes over coverage, liability, and damages issues. </li><li>Work in partnership with defense counsel and field adjusters to bring about a timely cost-effective conclusion. </li><li>Claims handled are transferred existing losses or first notice lawsuits, over disputed issues, which require a higher level of investigation, analysis, evaluation, and negotiation. </li><li>Maintain a keen foresight into claims depth to accurately adjust reserves, based on new information, over the cycle time of an exposure. </li><li>Develops timely cost-effective discovery, trial, and settlement resolution strategies, in conjunction with defense counsel, to minimize the costs associated with protracted litigation. </li><li>Represents the company at trial, mediation, and arbitration. </li><li>Acts as a technical resource for inside and field adjusters. </li></ul> <p>You'll do all this in an environment of excellence and the highest ethical standards - a place where values such as integrity, inclusive diversity and accountability are paramount.</p> <p>WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:</p> <ul> <li>Typically has 3+ years professional experience Prior Bodily Injury Litigated claims handling experience </li><li>Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience </li><li>Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to internal and external customers </li><li>Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers </li><li>Strong organizational and time management skills </li><li>Ability to negotiate skillfully in difficult situations with both internal and external groups </li><li>Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills.
