This role will include independent and team assignments to troubleshoot, repair and maintain commercial heating, cooling and some refrigeration HVAC related equipment. For information about ABM's benefits, visit ABM Employee Benefits | Front Line Team Members | (Programa de Beneficios de ABM)</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent </li><li>5+ years commercial HVAC </li><li>Valid driver license and good driving record </li><li>Ability to work after hours, weekends and holidays as need or on-call </li><li>Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills </li><li>CFC Certified Required </li><li>Membership or willing to become a member of the local 449 Steamfitters </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Cleaning, adjusting and repairing commercial and industrial HVAC heating, cooling and some refrigeration systems. </li><li>Troubleshoot defective HVAC systems and equipment to make diagnoses (Example Rooftops, Boilers, Pumps and Split Systems). </li><li>Performing preventive maintenance by cleaning reheat coils and air handler units. Replacing belts and filters. </li><li>Fixing, replacing and adjusting vents and ductwork </li><li>Ensuring condensation drain lines are free of debris and draining properly. </li><li>Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently. </li><li>Keeping daily logs and records of maintenance functions. </li><li>Maintaining service truck </li><li>Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and health and safety. </li></ul> <p>ABM is a military and veteran friendly employer, veterans and candidates with military experience encouraged to apply.
