Medical plans cover the employee and all eligible dependents (including spouse/domestic partner and/or children) at a reasonable cost.</p> <p>This is a part time County position represented by the Employees' Association.</p> <p>Employees' Association (EA) Part Time Benefits</p> <p>Learn More About Benefits</p> <p>JOB DETAILS AND QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Clackamas County's Beavercreek Health Clinic is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about healthcare and committed to working in a collaborative, team-based environment. At Clackamas Health Centers (CHC), we provide fully integrated care through a dynamic model where primary care providers are supported by a strong team of RNs, clinical and dispensing pharmacists, behavioral health specialists (including a robust primary care-based MAT team), and dentists. This position includes a smaller existing patient panel but with offers an exciting growth opportunity to grow with many new patients as well. We are especially interested in candidates with a strong commitment to caring for underserved populations and an interest in treating opioid use disorder.</p> <p>Required Minimum Qualifications/ Transferrable Skills:*</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Oregon and general experience as an RN </li><li>Licensed and Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges (within 30 days of hire) by the State of Oregon </li><li>DEA registration certificate with Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 privileges (within 30 days of hire) </li><li>Must possess and maintain a Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate </li></ul> <p>Pre-Employment Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must pass post-offer, pre-employment drug test. Care includes diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of acute and chronic illnesses, with appropriate referrals to specialty care and community resources when needed.</p> <p>Perform Diagnostic Assessments:</p> <p>Order, interpret, and evaluate a wide range of laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures. Use clinical judgment to formulate treatment plans based on findings and patient history.</p> <p>Prescribe and Manage Medications:</p> <p>Prescribe medications in accordance with established formulary, professional standards, and clinical guidelines. Monitor patient responses to medications and adjust treatments as needed. Educate patients on medication use, potential side effects, and adherence.</p> <p>Provide Pediatric Services:</p> <p>Conduct regular wellness and physical examinations for infants and children. Monitor growth and development milestones, diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions, and ensure children receive timely immunizations. Offer guidance to parents on nutrition, behavior, and developmental concerns.</p> <p>Offer Prenatal and Reproductive Health Services:</p> <p>Provide routine obstetric and gynecological care, including prenatal exams, contraception counseling, STD testing and treatment, and menopause management. Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, family planning, and parenting.</p> <p>Participate in Clinical Operations and Quality Improvement:</p> <p>Contribute to the development and review of clinic policies, procedures, and care protocols. Participate in clinic meetings, quality assurance activities, and initiatives that improve service delivery and patient outcomes. Engage in ongoing professional development and in-service education.</p> <p>Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams:</p> <p>Work collaboratively with behavioral health providers, nurses, case managers, and administrative staff to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Utilize internal consultation resources for complex cases.</p> <p>WORK SCHEDULE</p> <p>This position has flexibility for clinic days as a 0.8 position. Work days are 8 hours while the clinic is open from 8am to 7pm 5 days a week. Exact schedule is negotiable based on both employee preference and clinic staffing needs.</p> <p>Specific hours of work will be discussed with the candidate selected for this position at the time an offer of employment is extended. This position is eligible for hybrid on-site/telework subject to the Clackamas County Teleworking Policy and based on the Department's business needs. The exact amount of on-site/telework and schedule will be discussed with the hiring manager during time of offer. Telework locations cannot be located outside of Oregon or Washington.
