This role is in our Sharon CT Hospital and provides a rare opportunity to grow your career within this dynamic environment. Full Time M -F 0700-1530 and on call rotation for off hours and weekends. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to the age of the patient served on the nursing unit or by patient care department.</p> <p>JOB QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Education: Requires high school diploma or equivalent.</p> <p>Experience: One year of previous medical/surgical and/or Operating Room experience.</p> <p>Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Basic understanding of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology. </li><li>Basic computer skills, i.e. MS Outlook </li></ul> <p>.License:</p> <ul> <li>Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required through a nationally accredited educational program, such as National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). </li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) certified </li><li>Location: Sharon Hospital </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Manual: significant manual skills/motor coord & finger dexterity</p> <p>Occupational: Significant occupational risk</p> <p>Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort.
