<p>Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Planting Foreman to join our team in Eliot, ME. This is a full-time, year-round position with a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. As a Planting Foreman, you will play a critical role in overseeing planting crews and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You'll lead projects from start to finish while maintaining excellent client relationships.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead and supervise planting crews, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest quality standards. </li><li>Review and understand landscaping plans, including layout and grading. </li><li>Operate Bobcat, mini-excavator, and other landscaping machinery. </li><li>Oversee the proper care, planting, and maintenance of all plant material. </li><li>Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the planting process. </li><li>Ensure the crew follows safety protocols and best practices. </li><li>Participate in snow removal during winter months, as needed. </li><li>Additional duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in landscape planting. </li><li>Experience with layout, grading, and understanding of plans. </li><li>Expertise in operating Bobcat and mini-excavator. </li><li>Strong knowledge of horticulture, including the ability to recognize Latin plant names. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. </li><li>Previous experience in landscaping or construction. </li><li>Must be able to lift 75 pounds. </li><li>Valid insurable driving record. </li><li>Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and obtain a DOT Medical Card. </li></ul> <p>Wage & Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Highly competitive compensation based on experience. </li><li>Weekly payroll (every Friday). </li><li>Direct Deposit available. </li><li>Uniform reimbursement for seasonal and full-time employees. </li><li>Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance. </li><li>Supplemental insurance options (short-term and long-term disability). </li><li>401K with employer match. </li><li>Paid vacations and holidays. </li><li>Earned Paid Leave. </li><li>Bonus potential. </li><li>Year-round employment. </li><li>Employee development opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Why Join Us?</p> <p>At Piscataqua Landscaping, we value our employees and provide the tools and resources needed for success.
