We invite you to become part of Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network.</p> <p>The creation of the HHC System Support Office recognizes the work of a large and growing group of employees whose responsibilities are continually evolving so that we and our departments now work on behalf of the system as a whole, rather than a single member organization.</p> <p>With the creation of our new umbrella organization we now have our own identity with a unique payroll, benefits, performance management system, service recognition programs and other common practices across the system.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Provides decision support to the three domains of the Center for Equity: Community, Clinical, Colleague. The SSC will leverage tools, databases, EPIC reporting, and other analytic and visualization platforms (Tableau, Business Intelligence, Qlik, CBISA) to inform strategic priorities and process improvement.</p> <p>Coordinates program activities and supports the Center for Equity strategy and operations including event, meeting coordination and support, and project management.</p> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <p>Key Areas of Responsibility</p> <ul> <li>Informs decision-making and strategy development and deployment by providing analysis, project management areas of health equity, social impact, population health, community benefit, system, clinical and payment reforms, and value-based care. Conducts and coordinates data analytic requests. Conducts measurement development, reporting, and grant application and compliance matters. Tracks, investigates, and reports on key metrics and project progress. </li><li>Assists in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and projects. Schedules and organizes meetings, including drafting invitations, booking spaces, and preparing materials. Collaborates with various departments to gather and arrange information needed for strategic planning. Assists in creating compelling proposals and presentations for stakeholders. Handles administrative duties such as meeting material and document preparation, correspondence, optimizing CFE SharePoint and document inventory </li><li>Performs other related duties as required </li></ul> <p>Requirements and Specifications:</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Minimum: Bachelor's Degree </li><li>Preferred: Master's Degree preferred or equivalent experience in public health, business administration, public administration, public policy, health administration, health care management or a related field. </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>Minimum: of 1 years of health care, strategy development and deployment, public policy, and data analytics experience </li><li>Preferred: </li></ul> <p>o Personal lived experience with intersectional and marginalized identities a plus</p> <p>o Formal training in health service research methods a plus</p> <p>Language Skills</p> <ul> <li>Minimum: English </li><li>Preferred: Spanish or other language a plus </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Expertise in gathering and data discovery </li><li>Demonstrated experience in analytics, health informatics, project management, and equity and social impact strategy development and deployment. </li><li>Demonstrated commitment and knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice principles as they apply to marginalized communities and health/health care disparities </li><li>Anti-racism, social justice, racial justice framing experience </li><li>Demonstrated commitment to inclusive leadership </li><li>Willingness to sit in discomfort and challenge conventional thinking </li><li>Exceptional writing and communications skill </li><li>Project management/coordination skills; knowledge of non-profits, demonstrated volunteerism a plus </li><li>Exceptional computer skills (PC preferred with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint); </li><li>Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to translate complex data and concepts into user-friendly information that is relevant across disciplines for diverse stakeholders </li><li>Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. </li><li>Must be able to work in a stressful environment, managing competing priorities and multi-tasking to meet deadlines. </li><li>Team player with the ability to collaborate and empathize with others </li><li>Presents a positive attitude, strong action orientation, and a "can do" attitude; ability to make things happen </li><li>Conducts themselves according to Hartford Healthcare values: Caring, Excellence, Safety, Integrity and Equity. </li></ul> <p>We take great care of careers.</p> <p>With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
