<p>SUMMARY:</p> <p>A Human Resources Intern will assist the HR department with various administrative tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, employee record maintenance, and policy administration, gaining hands-on experience in core HR functions.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>(Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.)</p> <p>Project Assistance:</p> <ul> <li>Participate in special HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives or training program development. </li><li>Conduct research on HR trends and best practices. </li><li>Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations. </li></ul> <p>Employee Records Management:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain employee files and personnel records electronically and physically. </li><li>Update employee information in HR systems. </li><li>Assist with data entry and reporting. </li></ul> <p>Recruitment Support:</p> <ul> <li>Post job openings on various platforms. </li><li>Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate screening. </li><li>Schedule interviews and coordinate with hiring managers. </li><li>Assist with reference checks. </li></ul> <p>Onboarding and New Hire Administration:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare new hire paperwork and welcome packages. </li><li>Conduct new employee orientation sessions. </li><li>Update employee databases with new hire information. </li></ul> <p>HR Administrative Support:</p> <ul> <li>Answer employee inquiries regarding company policies and procedures. </li><li>Assist with employee benefits enrollment processes. </li><li>Prepare and distribute HR communications and announcements. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>This position has no supervisory responsibilities.</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
