Develop skills necessary to support the daily operations of nutrition services.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Varies per kitchen needs;</p> </li><li> <p>Completes site specific training in basic school nutrition;</p> </li><li> <p>Assists in the implementation of nutrition assistant tasks including, but not limited to: meal preparation, stocking, dishes, and serving meals;</p> </li><li> <p>Understands and follows proper time and attendance procedure, current uniform guidelines and Osseo Area Schools Food and Nutrition personal hygiene procedure;</p> </li><li> <p>Adheres to daily schedule of site and operation expectations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Works collaboratively with kitchen staff;</p> </li><li> <p>Completes weekly timecard;</p> </li><li> <p>Seeks clarification and communicates effectively with kitchen staff;</p> </li><li> <p>Follows all local and district health safety codes.</p> </li></ul> <p>Skilled in:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Proper use of commercial kitchen equipment to minimize accidents, safety, and sanitation concerns;</p> </li><li> <p>Being agile and ability to move quickly;</p> </li><li> <p>Attending to detail;</p> </li><li> <p>Developing positive relationships with students, staff and community;</p> </li><li> <p>Communicating effectively using good interpersonal skills;</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding and following Nutrition Services processes including, but not limited, to standardized recipes, labels, safety data sheets, cooking and cleaning procedures, as trained and directed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Nutrition Services offers:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience in formal interview process;</p> </li><li> <p>Performance Evaluation feedback;</p> </li><li> <p>An opportunity to develop basic foodservice skills, as applicant is capable.</p> </li></ul> <p>Accommodations:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Student workers must have job coach accompaniment for each shift;</p> </li><li> <p>Job coach must be in proper attire.</p> </li></ul>
