Focused on the Western states, WVP provides affiliated veterinarians with proven non-clinical business support functions, allowing veterinarians to spend more time with patients. Affiliated veterinarians benefit from economies of scale and professionally managed centralized non-clinical services such as provider recruitment, payables management, vendor management, capital equipment procurement, staffing management, finance, marketing, and information systems.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a hands-on AP Specialist to join our high-growth, fast-paced veterinary company. The chosen candidate will be a team player and will focus on high volume accounts payable. The AP Specialist may also assist with other projects as needed. This role supports hybrid work and requires on -site work every other Wednesday.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Review and verify vendor invoices for accuracy at a multi-entity level </li><li>Enter invoices into our accounting software and maintain vendor files </li><li>Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies </li><li>Research and resolve vendor and hospital inquiries and disputes </li><li>Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and hospitals </li><li>Month and year end close process </li></ul> <p>To thrive in this position candidates need to have:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree with 5+ years of accounts payable experience </li><li>Experience in a high volume, fast paced environment </li><li>Effective communication skills </li><li>Attention to detail and accuracy </li><li>Organization and prioritization </li><li>Can work well both independently and on a team </li><li>Problem solving skills and ability to handle a variety of challenging situations </li><li>Ability to multi-task </li><li>Local to the greater Denver area </li><li>Utilities experience a plus </li></ul> <p>Our salary ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. The salary range for this opportunity is $30-$32 hourly. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
