The ideal candidate will leverage critical thinking skills to influence, negotiate, implement and manage cost reduction solutions for our clients. As Director, you will provide leadership and guidance for your team as well as evaluate client situations and partner with the expense area experts to analyze and negotiate pricing for PRP clients. The Director is responsible to successful execution of Practice Group strategy, meeting of financial goals (P&L Management), and team development.</p> <p>If you are a subject matter expert in any of these areas, we would love to hear from you!</p> <ul> <li>Global Logistics: Freight & small parcel </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for meeting or exceeding department and personal performance to key performance indicator goals </li><li>Sell new projects and renewal contracts to existing clients with a high level of urgency </li><li>Building meaningful relationships with C Suite executives </li><li>Identify and deliver new value to existing clients </li><li>Maximize client savings achieved and value to retain targeted accounts after initial engagement </li><li>Maintain C-level engagement by meeting regularly to confirm savings achieved, obtain approval to implement additional savings and build trusted relationships </li><li>Identify, track, manage (define root cause and effective counter measures), and quickly resolve project issues </li><li>Establish, maintain, and track performance through dashboards that reflect contributions from all team players </li><li>Leadership responsibility of 2-4 direct reports </li><li>Evaluate and mentor staff, fostering personal as well as professional growth resulting in team retention, direct reports being promoted and taking on more responsibility </li><li>Establish productive working collaborative relationships with partners in other operational groups within the company </li><li>Quickly garner internal resources from all departments to collaborate with and find a way to keep projects moving forward when faced with adversity </li><li>Identify and lead company and department improvement initiatives through to implementation </li><li>Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to gain knowledge, ensure inter-departmental cooperation, and adopt best practices to execute client initiatives </li><li>Partner with clients to ensure compliance to service agreement </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>What You Need:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required with a minimum of 9-13 years of expense management, vendor management, consulting or other related experience </li><li>4+ years of management/supervisory experience </li><li>Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills </li><li>Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills; Advanced Microsoft Office and Excel skills </li><li>Ability to lead others to complete complex projects on time </li><li>Experience in building relationships and alignment amongst team members and clients with demonstrated leadership skills </li><li>Proven ability to deliver results </li></ul> <p>Who We Are:</p> <p>Profit Recovery Partners is a professional services firm that develops, implements and manages cost-reduction solutions for FORTUNE 1000 companies, law firms, private equity firms and private companies throughout North America.
