Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>This may include some or all of the following: scheduling patient appointments, retrieving insurance authorization for all surgeries, testing and procedures; maintaining and updating physician schedules. Be the difference.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates surgeries and information with other physician offices.</p> </li><li> <p>Assembles patient charts and answers patient's questions regarding surgery and testing.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures that customer service targets are achieved</p> </li><li> <p>Validates documentation for scheduling verification and authorization(s)</p> </li><li> <p>Communicates with physicians and department staff to accomplish assigned duties.</p> </li><li> <p>Executes policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of the services while meeting departmental budget goals.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - Two (2) years related work experience.
