<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>The Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab provides care for patients undergoing procedures in the department of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular Suite in the Heart & Vascular Center. This includes, prep, procedure and recovery of these patients as well as on-call responsibilities for this care. Assists in clinical care for all patients as needed in the HVC.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent, NYS licensed/registered Nurse (or eligible) with a minimum of 2 years post licensure acute care nursing experience (preferably in an ICU/cardiac/critical care setting) required.</p> <p>CPR/BLS required by time of appointment.</p> <p>Must be able to handle physical aspects of patient care such as moving patients and equipment, work well in a team environment.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>ACLS Certification preferred.</p> <p>Acute care experience in Cardiac Care.</p> <p>ICU/Critical Care</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday-Friday, flexible days; participation in on call duties required for off shift weekend & holiday.</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>This position has been reposted, originally posted on 12/4/23.</p> <p>Recruitment Office: Human Resources</p>
