<p>Clinical Faculty Support Coordinator - Physical Therapy Assistant Program</p> <p>Position Information: Temporary, Part-Time, Non-Benefits Eligible</p> <p>Salary: $30/hour, up to 10-15 hours per week based upon need. The position is grant funded, and may end at any time at the colleges discretion and as enrollment/program needs change.</p> <p>Summary: Following CAPTE approval of a substantive change, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program seeks a qualified individual to provide temporary, part-time support with implementation of the approved changes. This role will focus on developing and coordinating relationships with clinicians who will serve as adjunct faculty and assist with practical examination check-offs, as well as supporting instructional consistency across clinical settings.</p> <p>General Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and coordinate relationships with clinicians who will serve as adjunct faculty and participate in practical examination check-offs.</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with participating clinical sites to confirm which program-specific skills clinicians can effectively teach and evaluate, based on identified learning objectives and clinical settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Orient clinicians to their instructional roles and responsibilities, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Review of grading rubrics</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluation criteria</p> </li><li> <p>Program procedures related to skills instruction and assessment</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure consistency and clarity in skill instruction and evaluation across participating clinical sites.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct on-site visits to clinical facilities after student placement, as needed, to provide instructional support and assist clinicians with implementation-related questions.</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as a liaison between the academic program and clinical partners to support effective communication and implementation of program changes.</p> </li></ul>
