Working primarily from a work vehicle, this role performs a range of maintenance activities, including identifying equipment issues and conducting intermediate preventative maintenance. This role is a proficient technician capable of working independently in the field on most tasks, diagnosing issues, and recommending solutions.</p> <p>Position Duties/Responsibilities</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs routine preventive maintenance and intermediate level corrective repairs on equipment (diesel and or gas engines, hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, etc.) in the field using proper tools and procedures. </li><li>Conducts intermediate level inspections, apply root cause analysis/Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and identify recurring faults for management review. </li><li>Ensures all documentation is completed accurately and efficiently; work orders, service reports, allocation of time, and tracking parts. </li><li>Assists with work orders, including opening, tracking progress, and closing them to support efficient and well-documented maintenance operations. </li><li>Maintains customer satisfaction, ensuring that customer needs and deadlines are met. </li><li>Adheres to all safety rules, contamination regulations, and maintains quality housekeeping in work area. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>No formal responsibility for supervising others </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience </li><li>2 years or more of mechanical experience with on -road fleet vehicles (diesel/gas engines, hydraulic systems, HVAC systems, etc.) </li><li>Valid Driver's License. </li><li>Current DOT physical </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>6 years or more experience servicing on road/fleet vehicles. </li><li>Class B CDL </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities</p> <p>The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
