The Team Trainer will report to the Human Resource Generalist. This position will have the following principal accountabilities:</p> <ul> <li>Performs translation duties. </li><li>Works with Team Leaders and Team Members to monitor work in progress to assure conformance to productivity standards, standard yields, safe work procedures, HAACP, quality requirements, and food safety. </li><li>Coaches and trains new/existing employees to ensure conformance to productivity standards, standard yields, safe work procedures and quality requirements. </li><li>Completes new team member orientation. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned by management. </li><li>Completes paperwork and assists with records filing as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Successful candidates will have the following attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual </li><li>Excellent time management skills and organizational skills. </li><li>Excellent communication skills: Written and Verbal </li><li>The ability to read, translate and demonstrate job specifications to new employees. </li><li>Thorough knowledge (or the ability to learn) of the data collection system/bar code labeling equipment. </li><li>Familiarity (or the ability to learn) with the operation of packaging machines and other mechanical equipment. </li><li>Ability to work different shifts when needed. </li><li>Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment. </li><li>Applicants must not now, or at any time in the future, require employer sponsorship for a work visa. </li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer. </li><li>Must be 18 years of age or older. </li></ul> <p>At Hormel we invite difference and diversity in all aspects.
