You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.</p> <p>As a Utility Strategy Technical Program Manager, you deliver complex utility infrastructure projects across our portfolio. You manage our global utility risk and readiness assessment program and serve as engineering lead for custom water and wastewater solutions for new data centers. You work with stakeholders to ensure all players are coordinated on roles, responsibilities, and deadlines. This role is critical to protecting delivery timelines and meeting strategic goals.</p> <p>The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.</p> <p>The US base salary range for this full-time position is $138,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Manage the "Delivery Confidence" program, our primary tool for global infrastructure delivery risk reporting. This involves providing visibility into utility risks and potential mitigations against our demand plan. Empower proactive, informed decision-making and the escalation of risks to key partner teams. </li><li>Serve as the water and wastewater utility infrastructure lead for data center development in North America. Architect supply and discharge solutions and negotiate utility agreements for the data center pipeline. This includes leading the technical direction of utility projects during due diligence and design, and overseeing the commercial and technical direction of advanced utility projects during construction. </li></ul>
