<p>The Cooks Helper is responsible for food preparation, cleaning, and basic cooking tasks in the kitchen for the daily production of their outlet.</p> <p>Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares high quality and consistent food products for his/her assigned outlet. </li><li>Works in close conjunction with Room Chef and Master Cooks to maintain proper par stocks, inventory control, and quality of purchased goods. </li><li>Checks the maintenance of all kitchen equipment and immediately reports any damaged or broken equipment to management. </li><li>Follows all sanitation procedures as set by the company, maintaining the highest degree of cleanliness and organization within their outlet. </li><li>Ensures all safety standards are followed and reports on all unsafe conditions to management. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma, G.E.D. or culinary apprenticeship preferred. </li><li>Background specialized in quality cuisine is preferred. </li><li>Previous work experience as a Kitchen Helper or a similar role in the food industry. </li><li>Knowledge of health and safety regulations. </li><li>Basic food preparation and handling skills. </li><li>Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure. </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills. </li></ul>
