<p>$52,000 per year, exempt position</p> <p>Typical Schedule: Monday through Friday</p> <p>Must be flexible to work evenings and weekends as needed to meet the needs of resident activity calendar</p> <p>Must be proficient in Canva & possess strong content creator, computer, and audio/visual technology skills</p> <p>Primary Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plans, initiates, implements, manages, and evaluates a wide variety of programming and activities to meet the social, emotional, physical and spiritual needs of senior living residents under the direction of the Director of Community Life Services and in collaboration with the Community Life Services teams. </li><li>Prepares and distributes monthly activities calendars and supporting documents to promote and advertise all events and activities to residents. </li><li>Attends weekly Event Planning Meeting to confirm details of upcoming events and activities with various departments, including Food & Beverage Services and Environmental Services teams. </li><li>Leads in setting up, hosting, and breaking down resident events and activities. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in recreation, gerontology, hospitality, or related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum two (2) years' professional experience in geriatric recreation, life enrichment and/or event planning preferred. </li><li>Must be proficient in Canva and possess strong content creator skills </li><li>Must possess strong computer and audio/visual technology skills </li><li>Must be able to work flexible schedule, that may include evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of resident activity calendar </li><li>Must be committed to providing excellence in resident services and care. </li><li>Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Must present in a professional manner and be able to deal with stressful situations. </li></ul> <p>Full-Time Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, Vision & FSA </li><li>Employer-Paid Basic Life/AD&D & LTD </li><li>Voluntary Life & STD </li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan with Matching Program </li><li>Employee Assistance Program </li><li>Employee Referral Bonus Program </li><li>Daily Pay </li></ul>
