<p>Position Purpose:</p> <p>Assist the Director with all areas of spa operations.</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the daily management of all spa operations and staff to include therapists, aestheticians, nail technicians, and receptionists </li><li>Create and uphold departmental policies, procedures, and standards </li><li>Oversee and coordinate training of treatment protocols on menu of services </li><li>Develop and implement promotional programs with marketing department </li><li>Assist w/ special events as necessary </li><li>Maximize spa revenues by tracking trends and thinking creatively </li><li>Ensure safety and security for spa guests and associates </li><li>Ensure proper maintenance of facility and equipment and report problems to engineering immediately </li><li>Monitor inventory, ordering systems, and issuing of products and supplies </li><li>Serve as a liaison between management, staff, and guests </li><li>Monitor and ensure high standards of treatments and personnel </li><li>Develop and implement new spa services </li><li></li></ul> <p>Position Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years Spa management experience </li><li>Luxury hotel experience preferred </li><li>College graduate or professional certifications in spa treatments preferred </li><li>Prior experience w/ Spa Soft software </li><li>Prior P&L experience and responsibility </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Strong sales and marketing skills </li><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills </li></ul> <p>Reporting Relationship</p> <p>This position reports to the Spa Director</p> <p>Exemption Status</p> <p>Exempt</p> <p>Note: This document describes the general nature and level of work required of people in the job.
