As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, leading staff, and ensuring exceptional customer service.</p> <ul> <li>Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and staff management </li><li>Lead, train, and motivate team members to maintain high performance standards </li><li>Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly </li><li>Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders as needed </li><li>Handle cash transactions, deposits, and financial reporting accurately </li><li>Implement and maintain merchandising standards to optimize sales and store appearance </li><li>Assist in creating employee schedules and managing time-off requests </li><li>Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and compliant work environment </li><li>Analyze sales data and contribute to strategies for improving store performance </li><li>Step in for the Store Manager in their absence, making key decisions as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in retail or customer service, with supervisory experience preferred </li><li>Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members </li><li>Excellent customer service skills and a customer-focused mindset </li><li>Proficiency in inventory management and cash handling procedures </li><li>Solid problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills </li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written </li><li>Excellent time management and organizational skills </li><li>Computer proficiency, including experience with POS systems and scheduling software </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Knowledge of retail operations and store management practices </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays </li><li>Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.</p>
