The engineer will define team development and release processes. The senior engineer will also guide other junior team members.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Create or modify new or existing software to meet business needs</p> <p>Write and Document formal software test procedures</p> <p>Work with other business departments on technical issues</p> <p>Perform root cause analysis</p> <p>Evaluation of 3rd party software</p> <p>Develop formal build and deploy procedures of custom or 3rd party software</p> <p>Develop specifications and performance requirements for software integration</p> <p>Lead team code reviews</p> <p>Direct team members in system testing and validation procedures</p> <p>Direct team members in software programming and documentation development</p> <p>Education, Experience, and Skills</p> <p>BS in computer-related field AND 7+ years experience</p> <p>Experience with distributed systems architecture patterns and concepts</p> <p>Working knowledge of SQL, RDBMS, and NoSQL-type database management systems.</p> <p>Working knowledge of .NET development platform and languages.</p> <p>Experience building Azure app services (WebAPI, Azure Functions, etc) with C#</p> <p>Working knowledge of cloud hosted software (Azure).</p> <p>Advanced experience with concepts of software engineering and object-oriented design.</p> <p>Familiar with agile development methodologies.</p> <p>Experience with Dev/Ops</p> <p>Knowledge of the software development life-cycle.</p> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity Information: Simmons First National Corporation and its subsidiaries are committed to a policy of equal employment with respect to a person's race, color, religion, sex, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, covered veterans, military status, physical or mental disability or any other legally protected classifications.</p>
