<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>You can make a difference as a Manager of Plant Operations (facilities maintenance) in our beautiful senior living community, where our residents feel like family. The Glen's 45-acre campus includes 102 Independent Living apartments, 18 Independent cottages, 42 Assisted Living apartments, and a 30-bed new memory care building.</p> <p>Position Summary: Overall responsibility for ensuring the physical plant, furniture, equipment and grounds are maintained in excellent condition, and that residents are safe and comfortable in their home. Plan, organize, and schedule a broad range of activities performed by the maintenance, housekeeping and security departments and contractors. Maintain great relationships and communication with co-workers, staff, residents, families and vendors.</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports The Glen at Hiland Meadows Vision, Mission, Values </li><li>Responsible for maintenance of all community buildings, offices and common areas. </li><li>Maintains grounds, including all external building repairs lawns and trash removal. </li><li>Maintains and/or oversees repair of Community equipment; ensures that equipment is functioning properly, and staff are trained appropriately in its use. </li><li>Responsible for refurbishment of apartment/cottage as residents vacate to ensure timely re-occupancy. </li><li>Maintains fire safety and emergency records, maintenance of systems and inspections required by State regulations. </li><li>Supervise maintenance, housekeeping and security teams. </li><li>Working with Director, develop the annual budget for maintenance, housekeeping and security, including the capital needs budget. </li><li>Ensure work order system is maintained and work orders are completed on a timely basis. </li><li>Maintain high resident, family and employee satisfaction. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must hold a High School diploma </li><li>College degree or Trade School preferred </li><li>Must be knowledgeable, capable of troubleshooting and able to identify issues arising with electrical/mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, structural issues, and painting. </li><li>Five years of building management experience including at least two years' supervision of staff. </li></ul> <p>Pay Range: $31.50 - $38.40</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
