Begin a career as part of our team, utilizing your skills and abilities to change the life of a Job Corps student.</p> <p>Position name: Sr. Security Officer</p> <p>Facility name: Clearfield Job Corps Center</p> <p>Location: Clearfield, UT</p> <p>Benefit package includes:</p> <ul> <li>Medical/health/dental/vision/life insurance </li><li>AD&D as well as long-term disability </li><li>401(k) retirement plan </li><li>Paid time off </li><li>Paid holidays </li><li>Professional development assistance </li><li>Career advancement opportunities </li></ul> <p>Job responsibilities:</p> <p>Performs security officer duties and provides supervision to staff to protect life and property against theft, misappropriation, fire, flood, or similar disasters on assigned shifts.</p> <p>Essential duties:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the physical security of buildings, center vehicles, and property by checking doors, windows, lights, electrical appliances, equipment, locks, and emergency equipment. </li><li>Maintaining logs </li><li>Advise and train security officers in security procedures. </li><li>Assist in transporting students, and reporting and suppressing fires. </li><li>Act as liaison with neighboring law enforcement and fire agencies. </li><li>Assure accountability of students, staff, and visitor check-out and check-in proceedings by scheduling coverage. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent and two years experience.
