<p>IQF Processing Production Manager</p> <p>About Twin City Foods, Inc</p> <p>Twin City Foods is a leading Frozen Vegetable Producer committed to delivering high-quality, nutritious, and sustainably sourced frozen vegetables to consumers worldwide. With a focus on innovation, quality assurance, and environmental responsibility, we have established ourselves as a key player in the frozen food industry. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an IQF Processing Production Manager.</p> <p>What We're Looking For:</p> <p>As an IQF (Individually Quick Frozen) Processing Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Fresh-Pack production at the Lake Odessa facility. Responsibilities include managing all operational requirements for ensuring efficient & effective processing season. You will focus on efficiency and waste reduction, while maintaining a high-quality product. Utilizing Lean principals, you will lead the processing team members to optimize production workflows and minimize downtime while ensuring compliance with GMP's and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership abilities and excellent management of the daily production schedules, while staying organized and keen attention to detail.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:</p> <p>Minimum of five years' experience in the food industry with a minimum of 4 years supervisory experience preferred. Leadership in process control and mechanical knowledge of processing equipment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.</p> <p>Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Access. Knowledge & use of the Internet. Ability and experience in use of office equipment, including calculator, fax, copier, scanner, printer, shredder, etc.... Working knowledge of Infor (ERP) system preferred.</p> <p>Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from corporate, groups of managers, clients, and customers.</p> <p>Math and Reasoning Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.</p> <p>Required Education/Training/Certification Qualifications:</p> <p>High School education required. Associates or BS degree preferred. OSHA 30 Hr. Certification. Certification in Food Safety (e.g. HAACP, PCQI, BRC). Certification CPR/First Aid</p> <p>Supervisory Responsibility:</p> <p>This position supervises the Lake Odessa Division fresh-pack crew leads and fresh-pack team members.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure that all members comply with health and safety regulations and implement protocols to minimize risk of accident or injuries and all TCF PPEs, GMPs, and Food Safety policies are being followed. </li><li>Manage all aspects of the IQF frozen vegetable process, ensuring efficient daily production goals are met, while maintaining quality standards. </li><li>Accountable for executing business plans from department goals/objectives to meet key performance indicators (KPI) and to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost (S,Q,D,C) results for all IQF operations </li><li>Participate and/or lead Daily Management. Implement Lean strategies to streamline production processes and improve overall efficiency. Analyze and implement effective countermeasures for production KPIs. </li><li>Support development activities for product formulations, processing methods and protocol for process control and standard operating procedures (SOP's). </li><li>Training employees of proper procedures while providing guidance and support; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. </li><li>Ensure key points are staffed properly and make any necessary movement, if needed. </li><li>Ensure all production output meets TCF Quality Standards and is safe for public consumption. </li><li>Troubleshoots, identifies, and addresses work processes and equipment issues. </li><li>Ensures Sanitation programs are adhered to, and results exceed requirements. </li><li>Oversees incoming shipments of IQF vegetables, coordinating with dispatch. </li><li>Initiates and executes continuous improvement projects. </li><li>Drives continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis, root cause identification, and implementation of effective countermeasures. </li><li>Selected employee will be required to pass a background check, pre-employment drug screen and E-Verify* </li></ul> <p>Benefits of an IQF Processing Manager:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive Wages </li><li>Exempt Position </li><li>Excellent Benefit Package </li><li>Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance. </li><li>Flex Spending Account / Health Savings Account </li><li>Life, AD&D and LTD Insurance. </li><li>Paid Holidays-9 per year plus 1 to use on your day of choice. </li><li>Paid Time Off </li><li>Matching 401K Retirement Plan. </li></ul> <p>Work Location: Lake Odessa, MI</p> <p>Twin City Foods, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
