In this position you will be responsible for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Performing janitorial and maintenance task according to agency guidelines and expectations. </li><li>Maintaining the grounds. </li><li>Maintain and monitor inventory of all cleaning and maintenance supplies. </li><li>Perform minor repairs and upgrades on building and grounds equipment, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and perform minor carpentry/drywall work to repair or improve facilities whenever possible. </li><li>Review maintenance schedules and ensure agency vehicles receive timely service, inspections, and necessary repairs according to department guidelines. </li><li>Train and oversee consumers with a vocational objective focused on janitorial and maintenance careers. </li><li>Initiate and oversee preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment, facilities, and vehicles remain in optimal working conditions. </li><li>Follow safety practices and actively participate as a member of the area's safety committee o ensure compliance of all safety regulations in the workplace. </li></ul> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma and four years of experience in equipment, building, and grounds maintenance. </li><li>Supervisory experience required. </li><li>Good driving record required. </li></ul> <p>If invited to interview, please obtain your Official 10 year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles to bring with you.
