The Crew Chief is a Manager who works in the field, inspects new projects, determines, and communicates the planned course of action to the team, monitors the project and adjusts actions to keep the project moving forward while maintain the highest standards. If you are passionate and want to turn uncertainty into reassurance/anxiety into hope, we have the perfect opportunity for you.</p> <p>This job is hourly with commission and bonus opportunities</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Completes assigned jobs according to company processes and standards, maintains quality control, works alongside and supervises technician(s) assigned to job. </li><li>Is proficient or will rapidly become proficient in the use of DocuSketch, Core Logic software, and other industry specific software. </li><li>Completes documentation for estimates, completes project records using mobile software; delivers complete and accurate scope and sketch, dry logs and photo documentation and customer contract to inside team members. </li><li>Interfaces with insurance adjusters in person, over the phone, and virtually to resolve issues and answer questions about the loss when needed. </li><li>Multi-tasks to manage work orders, ensure appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, prioritizes activities to meet deadlines. </li><li>Will train new technicians to perform at ServiceMaster's highest standards. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <ul> <li>A great attitude and an outgoing, winning personality. </li><li>The ability to shift gears and multi-task </li><li>Experience in leading, training, or managing others in the insurance restoration industry. </li><li>Working knowledge of current IICRC restoration standards. WRT, ASD, or FSRT certification will be required within 4 months of hiring. </li><li>Proficiency with windows based software and familiarity with restoration industry specific programs </li><li>Construction experience is a plus </li><li>Willingness and ability to arrive ahead of time daily and put in 40 hours every week. </li><li>Valid Drivers' License, reliable transportation, and satisfactory driving record </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands and Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Incumbent must be prepared to: </li><li>Move up to 70 pounds often, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. </li><li>Must be able to wear respirator and safety gear when job conditions warrant </li></ul> <p>Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by associates assigned to this classification.
