<p>Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description</p> <p>We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will play a crucial role in modifying manufacturing processes and procedures as required. You will review defective hardware, provide instructions for rectification, and support manufacturing assemblers by interpreting work instructions and aiding in overall production. Additionally, you may incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan to ensure product quality and compliance with regulations. This role involves reviewing the performance of tools and process plans, identifying opportunities to improve flow, reduce span times, and hours per unit.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Modify manufacturing processes and procedures as necessary. </li><li>Review defective hardware and provide instructions for returning to acceptable condition. </li><li>Support manufacturing assemblers by interpreting work instructions and aiding in production. </li><li>Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans. </li><li>Review tool and process plan performance to verify efficiency. </li><li>Investigate and initiate corrective actions for problems and deficiencies. </li><li>Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements. </li><li>Ensure processes and procedures comply with regulations. </li><li>Identify opportunities to improve flow, reduce span times, and decrease hours per unit. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Experience with cable and harness manufacturing. </li><li>Experience with electromechanical assembly manufacturing. </li><li>Familiarity with J-STD, IPC-610, and IPC-620 standards. </li><li>Experience with Windchill PLM, SAP ERP, and Apriso software preferred. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience in manufacturing engineering. </li><li>Proficiency in process improvement and process engineering. </li><li>Knowledge of cable harness, cable assembly, and harness assembly. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>The work environment involves utilizing advanced technologies and equipment, with a focus on maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations.
