<p>Position: Shop Foreman - New Berlin, Wisconsin</p> <p>Department: Operations</p> <p>Design Build Fireprotection is a sister Company to Ryan Fireprotection</p> <p>Success in this role looks like:</p> <p>Helping establish process and procedures with purchasing job-site materials in all areas of our business. This person should have positive relationships with our vendors. They should be prepared to review orders and deliveries to determine they are accurate and should follow through with a resolution if they aren't. We are looking for someone who is organized, analytical, a clear communicator and hard worker.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Check In/ oversee Material Deliveries </li><li>Manage Shop Material Inventory (use up material in stock before ordering new material) </li><li>Assist purchasing coordinator with backordered item. </li><li>Maintain stock of supplies (rags, bags, shrink wrap, banding, saw blades) etc. </li><li>Building & Property Maintenance </li><li>Material Will Calls Service & Contract </li><li>Coordinate the Delivery materials to jobsites </li><li>Daily planning and coordination of fabrication and hangers </li><li>Tool & Safety Equipment Delivery </li><li>Manage & Track Tools </li><li>Manage & Track Safety Equipment </li><li>Coordinate Fleet Maintenance and repairs of all fleet vehicles including forklift and trailers </li><li>Van Inventory and Stocking </li><li>Supervise the coordination and maintenance of shop equipment and machinery </li><li>Fabrication </li><li>Maintain an active presence on the shop floor to ensure daily fabrication schedules are being met. </li><li>Ensure quality standards are being met </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proactive/Self Starter </li><li>Fire Protection Experience / knowledge preferred </li><li>Fabrication Experience </li><li>Mechanical aptitude </li><li>Vendor Relationships Preferred </li></ul>
