<p>Job Title: Audit Analyst</p> <p>Position Location: Raleigh, NC. Hybrid Position, must live locally.</p> <p>The Audit Analyst leads data efforts and enhances data-enabled internal auditing. The role involves developing testing procedures, extracting the data sets, providing insights to the audit team, identifying risks, validating processes, and offering both practical and innovative solutions. The analyst utilizes data selection, querying, and validation, in relationship to business processes to evaluate risks and ensure process accuracy and reliability. Additionally, the analyst mentors staff to develop technical skills and serves as a point of contact with business owners for data needs.</p> <p>As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be:</p> <ul> <li>(50%) Collaborating with internal audit colleagues to identify and retrieve data sets for testing related to transactions, processes, and other data points. </li><li>(15%) Designing and establishing dashboards to use for ongoing monitoring and testing. </li><li>(15%) Evaluating the Credit Union's processes and controls by performing basic audit procedures, identifying potential risks, assessing compliance, and contributing to the overall audit process under the guidance of senior auditors. </li><li>(10%) Ensuring that internal policies and procedures comply with Credit Union policy and existing state and federal financial institution regulations through systematic department reviews. </li><li>(10%) Serving as the team administrator for the audit workpaper and workflow system to ensure compliance with internal and IIA standards. </li></ul> <p>Interested? Here are the qualifications we need to see on your resume:</p> <p>Required experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>At least three years of experience with:</p> </li><li> <p>Building, maintaining, or working with relational databases and data sets</p> </li><li> <p>Building and optimizing SQL queries, analyzing the output and creating visualizations</p> </li><li> <p>Using tools such as Tableau, Visio, R, Power BI and/or other analysis, visualization and process mapping tools</p> </li><li> <p>Ownership and responsibility for a project / task / other output from inception to completion</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred experience:</p> <ul> <li>Professional certification such as CIA, CISA, or similar data / technology related </li><li>Experience with a financial institution or credit union </li><li>Experience in systems administration, access controls and identity management </li></ul> <p>Education:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's in computer science, data analytics, business, or related field; or additional four years of experience in lieu of degree </li></ul> <p>Essential cognitive/physical/social requirements of position:</p> <p>Must be able to learn and retain information; remain in a stationary position; constantly operate a computer; and converse with others on a continual basis.</p> <p>For consideration visit https://coastal24.applicantpool.com/jobs/ .
