Although most don't realize it, our products are used to build the homes, roads, and bridges that people throughout the Midwest use every day of their lives!</p> <p>As a leading producer of aggregates in the Midwest, we are seeking an experienced Aggregate Sales Manager for our St. Louis Region. This is a full-time, exempt position based our our Fenton, MO Regional Office, typically working a Monday through Friday schedule.</p> <p>The Aggregate Sales Manager position oversees the regional sales and marketing activities of our 11+ quarry locations across the greater St. Louis area. This includes supervising a team of salespeople who collectively set, manage, and achieve short and long-range specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and timely (SMART) goals. This role reports to the General Manager of St. Louis Operations and requires regular communications regarding ongoing jobs and market updates. Candidates must be willing to travel as this position is based in the Hannibal, MO office, but will require daily travel throughout the region with use of a company provided vehicle.</p> <p>At Central Stone, we offer a competitive wage and benefits package including Health Insurance, paid Holidays and Vacation, 401k with Company match, Company vehicle, and more!</p> <p>Major Sales Manager responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Create regional sales plans and quotas in alignment with business objectives </li><li>Support sales reps with day-to-day sales responsibilities </li><li>Evaluate overall regional and individual performance </li><li>Report on regional sales results on an on-going basis </li><li>Forecast monthly and annual sales volume and revenue </li><li>Familiarity with JWS / APEX software a plus </li><li>Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth </li><li>Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition </li><li>Manage large customers and ensure they are receiving high quality service </li><li>Daily regional travel with use of company vehicle </li></ul> <p>Sales Manager Candidate Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 5 years' experience in a sales related position </li><li>Familiarity with Financial Reporting with an ability to think in numbers </li><li>Ability to make, meet, and exceed SMART Sales Goals </li><li>Skilled in Negotiations and Selling to Customer Needs </li><li>Sales Planning experience and proper motivation for sales activity </li><li>Ability to build and develop effective relationships </li><li>Ability to develop, lead, and motivate a high performance sales team, including providing hands-on training and development, managing performance issues and providing daily direction and supervision </li><li>Must possess strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, and can work well in a team environment </li><li>Must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record </li></ul> <p>If this Aggregate Sales Manager position sounds like a good match for you, apply today!</p> <p>Pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check required.
