<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Athletics/Activities/Coaching</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>4/10/2026</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Flat Rock Community High School</p> <p>District:</p> <p>&nbsp Flat Rock Community Schools&nbsp&nbspAdditional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Posting Date:Friday, April 10, 2026 Position:Varsity Boys Bowling Head Coach Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must be a high school graduate; college graduate preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid certifications (or willingness to obtain) including:</p> </li><li> <p>CPR/AED and First Aid</p> </li><li> <p>MHSAA CAP (any level)</p> </li><li> <p>Previous bowling participation required; coaching experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and understanding pertaining to sport, strategies, rules, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and Understanding of Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes, parents, and staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated coaching strategies and methods that align with the District's Student-Focused Coaching and Leadership Philosophies.</p> </li></ul> <p>Duties & Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and supervise athletic activities, contests, and practice sessions for the team you are assigned to, in accordance with the FRCS Athletic Coaching Handbook and District Policies. </li><li>Maintain a consistent presence and commitment to the program, prioritizing responsibilities to the program throughout the season. </li><li>Communicate and enforce all school, league, and Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) rules and regulations. </li><li>Promote academic achievement, sportsmanship, and personal development among team members. </li><li>Work collaboratively with the athletic department and coaching staff to ensure a safe and well-organized program. </li><li>Represent Flat Rock Community Schools in a professional and respectful manner at all practices, meets, and school-related events. </li><li>Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director </li></ul> <p>Rate of Pay: Per Schedule "B" of the FREA Collective Bargaining Agreement Posting Deadline:Until Filled</p>
