ACS is a two-semester, reading and writing-intensive interdisciplinary first-year seminar, required of all students. Each section is capped at sixteen students. The students are expected to write a minimum of thirty pages (graded and ungraded) per semester.</p> <p>Although the position carries no research or committee service responsibilities, the successful candidate is expected to contribute to the life of the Program, including participating in faculty teaching development activities.</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Candidates must have prior experience teaching a multi-disciplinary, discussion-oriented, writing-intensive, first-year seminar and be willing to support a humanistic exploration of Villanova's Catholic and Augustine tradition and mission. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications: Physical Requirements and/or Unusual Work Hours: Special Message to Applicants:</p> <p>Applicants must apply online at http://jobs.villanova.edu.
