This position involves cleaning vehicles, managing the service lot, and ensuring the dealership's appearance is always professional.</p> <p>Primary Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a neat and orderly service vehicle lot and move vehicles as needed. </li><li>Clean service drive, write-up area, and shop environment regularly. </li><li>Clean interiors and exteriors of vehicles, including trunks and glove compartments. </li><li>Wash customer vehicles using appropriate cleaning products and equipment. </li><li>Clean engines by removing grease and applying special cleaners when required. </li><li>Assist technicians in keeping the service department clean and organized. </li><li>Support dealership property maintenance and overall appearance. </li><li>Greet customers courteously and professionally upon arrival. </li><li>Complete all required training, including OSHA right-to-know training. </li><li>Patrol the dealership grounds to ensure security and cleanliness. </li><li>Operate shuttle vehicles and park cars from service areas safely. </li><li>Empty trash receptacles frequently to maintain cleanliness. </li><li>Wear company-approved uniform at all times. </li><li>Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work in a noisy environment. </li><li>Frequent bending, stooping, crouching, reaching, and handling tools. </li><li>Capability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. </li><li>Exposure to moving mechanical parts and chemicals such as battery acid, gasoline, and cleaners. </li></ul> <p>LaFontaine Imports of Livonia offers comprehensive training, competitive pay, and a professional work environment.
