We're building a culture where people can grow their careers and are challenged to solve our client's toughest environmental problems.</p> <p>As a Water Treatment Plant Operator II, you will be responsible to support the operation of a water treatment facility which includes the operation and maintenance of equipment and general care of the facility.</p> <p>Responsibilites</p> <ul> <li>Support the operation of a water treatment facility which includes the operation and maintenance of pumps, hoses, air compressor, clarifiers, agitators, pipelines, etc. </li><li>Monitor and maintain various water treatment equipment including influent ponds/pipelines, lime/caustic precipitation reactor, lamella clarifier, sludge collection and dewatering, and all related processes </li><li>Optimize plant performance and troubleshoot upset conditions </li><li>Perform plant quality control tasks including manual process parameters (pH, Turbidity, Density, etc) and prepare water samples for transport and analysis </li><li>Support plant process improvement test work and maintenance activities </li><li>Support general care and maintenance activities on site including site pumps, distribution systems (water, electrical and fuel), communication systems, buildings, and roadways. </li><li>Maintain all on-site equipment in good and safe working order by performing regular inspections, maintenance and repairs. </li><li>Ensure the cleanliness/safety of the site </li><li>Conduct daily/weekly/monthly sampling, inspections and monitoring of tailings area, ponds, and water from various sources at site. </li><li>Prepare daily/monthly/quarterly summary reports of site operation. </li><li>Periodic inspections of equipment and water treatment systems to monitor proper performance of operations. </li><li>Take proper safety precautions, anticipate unsafe circumstances, and act accordingly to prevent accidents. </li><li>All other duties as required. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Experience & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 3 years of industrial work experience or previous experience operating industrial water treatment plants. </li><li>Is in good physical health, able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs, stand/bend/stoop for long periods of time, and work outdoors in all weather conditions. </li><li>Is in possession of a current Driver's License, and able to drive to job site. </li><li>Previous experience operating hand tools, small machinery, and other necessary equipment. </li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work independently or as part of a team. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders. </li><li>Colorado Class D Water Treatment Plant Operator License or other state equivalent </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds </li><li>Site travel required </li><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or computer </li></ul> <p>$30 - $32.21 an hour</p> <p>Ensero has offices in Colorado (Denver, Canon City, and Fort Collins) and Canada (Saskatoon, Vancouver and Whitehorse) and is well established as an innovative leader in environmental management, water treatment, remediation technologies, and facility operations.
