<p>Physical Therapy Technician</p> <p>Location: Geneva, Illinois</p> <p>Status: Full-Time (40 Hours/Week)</p> <p>Days/Hours: Days and hours vary (no weekends)</p> <p>Expected Starting Pay (based on experience): $17.00 - $20.00/Hour</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>Responsible for supporting the PT/PTA in their daily productivity. Assists with supervising patients while exercising, putting on and removing hot / cold packs, removing electrodes, and general support to the therapists.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Assists with treating all patients except Medicare under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist. </li><li>Assists with modalities, as recommended by a Physical Therapist. </li><li>Schedules patients. </li><li>Maintain clean, safe working environment to facilitate quality of patient care, and efficient operations. </li><li>Exhibits a willingness to adopt to changing environment including various locations. </li><li>Maintains appropriate confidentiality. </li><li>Receives incoming telephone calls for clinic, obtains callers name, and forwards call to appropriate person or takes a message. </li><li>Greets patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner and provides information and assistance to them. </li><li>Orders supplies as directed by the Clinic Manager, maintains waiting room, performs typing, assists with report generation, and other clerical duties. </li><li>Assists PT, PTA, ATC with evaluation room and gym preparation and clean up including contrast baths, ice cups, hydrocollator and freezer maintenance, removal of e-stim patches and cold packs. </li><li>Regulates flow of laundry, as needed. </li></ul> <p>Education and/or Experience</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>High School graduate or equivalent </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance </li><li>Paid Time Off (PTO) </li><li>Holiday Pay </li><li>401k/Profit Sharing </li></ul>
