We avoid trends and seek meaning to create work that is award-winning and career-defining through integrated experiences, interactions, and environments.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Design Director works autonomously, leads a team, and brings the vision of multiple projects to life with little or no oversight. The Design Director works closely with the co-leaders across departments and with clients, thinking on a higher level about how best to drive the business. Internally, the Design Director is a key contributor to the department and agency culture, and a mentor to shape more junior designers' careers. Their work is consistent in excellence and originality.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Oversee multiple pieces of business at once, effectively managing time and delegating work</p> </li><li> <p>Manage staff, both in reviewing work and in guiding their career development and growth</p> </li><li> <p>Think beyond the campaign, always looking towards a bigger vision and developing comprehensive ecosystems of work</p> </li><li> <p>Forge strong client relationships, and establish full client trust in your instincts and decisions</p> </li><li> <p>Continually push work beyond the status quo; and motivate and challenge all departments to go above what is expected</p> </li><li> <p>See all briefs as opportunities and drive members of team from all departments to take the work a step above</p> </li><li> <p>Work with other disciplines (e.g., Account Management, Operations, Strategy, Project Management, Creative, UX, Design, Interactive Technology) to determine scopes and project requirements</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualification</p> <p>Basic Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Portfolio or samples of work demonstrating smart, brand-building designs and executions </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>7+ years of design experience at a Design firm, Advertising Agency or related industry</p> </li><li> <p>Prior creation of award-winning or breakthrough work</p> </li><li> <p>Experience managing individuals and teams of people. Collaborative and team oriented</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to multi-task across multiple pieces of business and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills to work internally and with clients</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of design process, beyond just campaign work</p> </li><li> <p>Expert proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign, and any new and emerging design-specific software</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills for effective communication to clients, internal staff and management</p> </li><li> <p>Expert production experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
