<p>ETC, Inc. is looking a Brake Set-Up/Operator on 2nd shift in our clean, climate-controlled facility. Regular hours would be 3pm - 1am Monday through Thursday. We are looking for a detailed oriented, hard working individual, who wants to be part of an ever growing company. At ETC, we have fun and make money!</p> <p>Representative Responsibilities:</p> <p>Manufactures parts to the timeframes, standards, and specifications set by the department</p> <p>Sets up and operates press brakes and prepares work area</p> <p>Follows procedures and selects tools and materials</p> <p>Ensures work orders are completed</p> <p>Maintains expected productivity output levels and completes assignments as scheduled</p> <p>Ensures machines are running at full capacity for each job</p> <p>Completes paperwork correctly, labels parts per work order and forwards the product to the next station</p> <p>Accounts for time and work completed via labor reporting</p> <p>Ensures product quality meets standards</p> <p>Builds parts to quality standards within specified tolerance as reflected on print</p> <p>Ensures proper tooling is used for the application</p> <p>Follows ISO procedures</p> <p>Uses appropriate documentation, e.g. ECRs, and NCMRs, to identify and communicate issues</p> <p>Completes machine maintenance in a timely manner</p> <p>Completes scheduled maintenance</p> <p>Reports all identified problems to the team leader or manager</p> <p>Informs team lead or manager of tooling needs</p> <p>Adheres to safety standards at all times</p> <p>Ensures that safe methods and practices are used</p> <p>Abides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines</p> <p>Wears personal protective equipment as required</p> <p>Identifies and reports safety issues to management</p> <p>Learns new tasks and procedures as needed.</p> <p>Listens to, understands and follows instructions while learning new assignments</p> <p>Recognizes unusual circumstances and asks questions when necessary</p> <p>Maintains a clean and organized work environment.</p> <p>Ensures after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to designated area.</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience</p> <p>1-2 years experience with metal shop equipment</p> <p>6 -12 months of similar experience setting up and maintaining metal shop equipment</p> <p>Knowledge of various metal shop machines</p> <p>Mechanical Aptitude</p> <p>Good math skills</p> <p>Good organizational skills</p> <p>CNC (Computer Numerical Control) skills</p> <p>Able to read blue prints</p> <p>Able to read measuring devices</p> <p>Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, and complete departmental paperwork</p> <p>Proven ability to understand and follow directions</p> <p>Able to work independently and as part of a team</p> <p>Able to stand for long periods of time</p> <p>Able to lift up to 50 pounds</p>
