<p>Position Information</p> <p>TheDepartment of Enterprise Services (DES) is hiring aGolf Course Superintendent II to plan, direct, and oversee the operations, improvements, development, and maintenance of the Pali Golf Course.</p> <p>As aGolf Course Superintendent II, your duties and responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Establishes operating policies and procedures, and sees that they are effectively carried out. </li><li>Maintains records, prepares reports and evaluates the status of all programs, including the general condition of the course and its facilities, as well as projected plans for improvement and growth. </li><li>Oversees maintenance of the course and its facilities including playing areas, non-playing areas such as parking facilities, sidewalks, retaining walls, etc., beautification of the grounds, all structure and appurtenances, and equipment. </li><li>Supervises the golf course maintenance and improvement crews requiring operating or functional knowledge of the use of organic and chemical fertilizers and soil supplements and conditioners, use and application of herbicides, insecticides, and fungicides. </li><li>Required to operate within funds allotted by annual expenditure schedule or justify and obtain approval for deviations. </li><li>Performs other duties and responsibilities of the position. </li></ul> <p>Apply today!
