<p>WAREHOUSE MANAGER</p> <p>TMJ Construction Services is hiring a Warehouse Manager</p> <p>TMJ Construction Services is growing and we are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to support our operations.</p> <p>This role is primarily based out of our Ames location, with support at our Grimes facility as needed. The Warehouse Manager plays a key role in keeping materials, equipment, and inventory organized and moving efficiently to support our crews and job sites.</p> <p>If you enjoy staying organized, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, and being a critical part of a team's success, we encourage you to apply and join the TMJ team.</p> <p>Responsibilities include:</p> <p>Inventory Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee receiving and inspection of all incoming materials, equipment, and supplies at both locations </li><li>Coordinate and release inventory to job sites and crews, ensuring accurate tracking </li><li>Maintain clear documentation of all inventory movement </li><li>Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits </li><li>Reconcile discrepancies and investigate variances </li><li>Prepare and submit inventory reports to the Controller </li><li>Work closely with Production to plan material needs for upcoming projects </li><li>Monitor inventory levels and determine reorder points </li><li>Assist with purchasing recommendations based on project needs and inventory analysis </li></ul> <p>Warehouse Operations</p> <ul> <li>Maintain an organized warehouse layout for efficient storage and access </li><li>Ensure proper handling and storage of materials and equipment </li><li>Follow and enforce safety procedures in line with OSHA standards </li><li>Coordinate logistics between Ames and Grimes locations </li><li>Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment </li><li>Improve workflow and maximize space utilization </li></ul> <p>Documentation and Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems </li><li>Generate reports on inventory levels, usage, and trends </li><li>Document damaged or obsolete materials </li><li>Track and report key performance metrics to the Controller </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred </li><li>3+ years of warehouse or inventory management experience (construction industry preferred) </li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail </li><li>Experience with inventory systems and Microsoft Office </li><li>Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Ames and Grimes as needed </li><li>Forklift certification or willingness to obtain </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills </li></ul> <p>Interested in joining our team?
