<p>CHILD WATCH TEAM MEMBER - Crown Sports Center</p> <p>Sports Facilities Management, LLC</p> <p>LOCATION: Fruitland, MD</p> <p>DEPARTMENT: OPERATIONS</p> <p>REPORTS TO: CHILD WATCH MANAGER</p> <p>STATUS: PART-TIME (NON-EXEMPT)</p> <p>ABOUT THE COMPANY:</p> <p>Crown Sports Center is a multi-sport sport, recreation and entertainment facility in Fruitland, Maryland. We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.</p> <p>POSTION SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Child Watch Team Member will assist in daily child programs such as monitoring, safekeeping, and enforcing daily operations while providing excellent customer service.</p> <p>PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:</p> <ul> <li>Assist children while they engage in group and individual sports activities </li><li>Maintain a safe and clean work environment </li><li>Assist with morning drop-off and check-in as well as afternoon pick-up and sign-out </li><li>Assist other counselors/coaches with any other duties as assigned by Child Watch Manager </li><li>Maintain effective discipline and safety procedures during child activities </li><li>Transport children to and from school </li><li>All other duties as assigned by management </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work with a wide variety of children, ages from 7-12 </li><li>Flexible work schedule and regular attendance is necessary </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written </li><li>Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment </li><li>Must be detail-orientated and have outstanding organizational skills </li><li>Ability to multitask and prioritize </li><li>Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations </li><li>Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, and fellow team members </li><li>Must work well with others </li><li>Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility </li><li>Able to enter information on a computer </li></ul> <p>WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high </li><li>Will be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend </li><li>Must be able to identify problems and/or hazards and resolve or report to management </li><li>Must comply with safety and health code standards </li><li>Facility has intermittent noise </li><li>Able to run/walk as needed </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED:</p> <ul> <li>CPR/First Aid Certified </li><li>Camp experience </li><li>Experience organizing youth activities </li><li>Customer service and/or staff management experience </li></ul>
