<p>Job Title: Engineering Director</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are seeking a seasoned Director of Engineering to lead the Gas Heater & Heat Pump division in Nashville. This senior role is crucial in driving innovation, execution, and compliance across all new product development and sustaining engineering programs. The successful candidate will oversee a multidisciplinary team, shape the heating technology roadmap, and deliver safe, efficient, and market-leading products.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set engineering strategy aligned with corporate growth and product goals. </li><li>Lead new product development and sustaining programs with disciplined execution. </li><li>Drive innovation in combustion systems and heat pump electrification. </li><li>Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and product quality. </li><li>Build and mentor a high-performing engineering team. </li><li>Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and external vendors. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>12+ years of engineering leadership in product development/manufacturing. </li><li>8+ years managing multidisciplinary teams. </li><li>Experience in HVAC, heating systems, or thermal management. </li><li>Bachelor's in mechanical engineering required, master's preferred. </li><li>Excellent communication, governance, and vendor management skills. </li><li>Willingness to travel up to 10%. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Direct experience with combustion systems, burners, heat exchangers, ignition, or emissions compliance preferred. </li><li>Experience in Aerospace and Defense, or other HVAC companies is advantageous. </li><li>Understanding of thermodynamics and R&D engineering. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Permanent position based out of Nashville, TN.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $191000.00 - $238000.00/yr.</p> <p>Mid point is 214,200- 238,000. 20% annual target. bonus. 10% LTI.
