Join Arcosa LWB, LLC in Boulder, CO and help power the infrastructure of tomorrow.</p> <p>What You Will Get:</p> <ul> <li>$3,000 Sign-on Bonus </li><li>Starting at $38/hr + performance raises </li><li>Health, dental, and vision insurance </li><li>Paid training (MSHA) </li><li>Career growth opportunities </li><li>Paid vacation, sick time & 11 holidays </li><li>401(k) with company match </li><li>Paid life and disability insurance </li></ul> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Electrical Maintenance & Troubleshooting </li><li>Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components on industrial machinery. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair 480V AC 3-phase motors, AC/DC single-phase motors, and servo drive systems. </li><li>Perform electrical wiring, power-up, and verification of machine settings and functions. </li><li>Use schematics, blueprints, and manuals to diagnose and resolve electrical issues. </li><li>Safety & Compliance </li><li>Follow all MSHA, OSHA, and NEC safety regulations and procedures. </li><li>Conduct pre-shift inspections and ensure a safe working environment. </li><li>Participate in safety initiatives and support Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. </li><li>Preventative Maintenance & System Upgrades </li><li>Implement and document preventative maintenance programs (e.g., thermography, PMs). </li><li>Perform mechanical testing and maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment. </li><li>Recommend and execute improvements to electrical systems and processes. </li><li>System & Controls </li><li>Work with electrical power distribution systems and equipment communication protocols. </li><li>Install and maintain control panels, sensors, and automation systems. </li><li>Support upgrades and modifications to existing electrical infrastructure. </li><li>Other Dutes </li><li>Assist with general plant maintenance and support other departments as needed. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. </li><li>Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. </li></ul> <p>What You Will Need:</p> <ul> <li>Required Qualifications </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. o Experience with industrial electrical systems, including 480V AC 3-phase motors and motor controls. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical and mechanical systems. </li><li>Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator. </li><li>Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in varied outdoor conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.). </li><li>Willingness to work overtime and flexible hours as needed. </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. </li><li>Ability to pass a drug test, physical exam, and background check. </li><li>Valid driver's license. </li><li>Preferred Qualifications </li><li>MSHA certification (we'll provide training if needed). o Welding experience. </li><li>Loader or heavy equipment operation experience. </li><li>Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs (e.g., thermography, PMs). </li><li>Experience in mining, aggregates, or construction environments. </li><li>Proficiency in hydraulics, lubrication, drive trains, and diagnostics. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Environment:</p> <p>While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Regularly sitting, standing, walking, talking, hearing. Vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hands and arms. Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.
